Monogram F-16XL kits on eBay

Wow what is going on with these kits on eBay? Bid prices have been through the roof lately. There are two kits closing today, current prices are USD$20.50 and $31.00!!! I saw one last week sell for $59.95!!! :shock:

I know it is the only kit in that scale (1:72) but good grief those prices are amazing!!!! (glad I already have a couple)

I know all about the eBay mentality :roll:

but I wonder why the sudden interest in this kit?

Beats me, I've been seeing the same thing with the other kits I'm looking for, but the XL isn't one of them. Maybe it's the holiday thing.
