First post of pictures on this site . . . .
Had to regain my sanity and "enjoyment" of modeling after building the 1/48 Kinetic EA-6B, so I chose the Italeri F-16C. This kit comes with Desert Storm markings (something I've wanted to build for some time) and looked pretty straightforward. And the kit did not disappoint. Construction was relatively easy and without any major problems. Builds up to a nice Viper and contains a good selection of weapons.
This model will be displayed "in-flight" with a clear acrylic rod in the exhaust cone. So no landing gear work! Still need to spray a flat coat, add the cluster munitions, detail the pilot, canopy, etc. Then I'll finish the display base - with squadron patch, description, etc.
Overall, high praise for this kit if your looking for an inexpensive, relatively simple, yet fun build that won't cause you too much fuss. I'd build another one without hesitation.
Enjoy and any feedback / comments are welcome.
