Here you can discuss paint schemes, kit details etc. for flying and non-flying scale models.

I am currently building a Hasegawa 1/48th viper and want to mark it with Montana ANG markings, but haven't been able to find them.

This is a F-16C and I'm not sure if it would fit with the A model. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thanx. :?:

I can email you a pic of our current tail flash within the next week or so. We currently fly the F-16C, so the flash should work on your model.

To my knowledge no decals of the current scheme have been released.

slynger, are you tpartlow on ARC? If so I posted a reply there.

Superscale did the old Big Sky markings on sheet 48-345. Repliscale did the same markings but I don't have the sheet number handy.

Also the Italeri F-16A NATO kit #841 has these markings.

Slynger,

If you can drop me an E-mail with your mail-adress, I can send you the decals. I once had the #841 kit Habu2 mentioned, but didn't use that decals.

Greetings Geert.

Chickenlegs,

Nice Pics!! I just happened to be in the guy's office who's name is on 328, and he had this on his desktop. Having just read Slynger's post, that was the best pic(post event of course). Needless to say, the pilot is very bummed...

BTW, last 3 guys and jets home tomorrow pm. Sounds like the coalition did an awesome job over the summer! I stayed home and pulled mucho alert.

Here's how they fixed the jet...

V/R,

Gus

ps. Nice hockey mask!

sorry....didn't know the investigation wasn't done yet....was advised that posting the pics of the accident wasn't kosher.

Sorry all............ :(

FYI, I heard a guy was coming here from a decal Co. and was going to work on model decals for our current tail flash. Unfortunately, I guess the process takes about 2 years and it's up to the model companies as to whether they buy the decals too. I'll post an update when I hear more.

2 years??!!?? I don't think so. Maybe for kit decals, but not for aftermarket decals.

Nice model, I must say that this is one of the best models. I do find it quite interesting though that these pieces show up. That is closer to the real thing than any of the other models .
