Nice! Where did you get the "proper" 400 mm roundels?? What do you think about my Viper?

Thanks Bk974, I like your build too
The decals came from here;
http://www.vingtor.net/index.html + a separate source that unfortunatelly don't produce decals anymore because his APLS printer is permanently broken

Hi Dani - yes, it is the 1/48 Tamiya F-16C converted to an AM.
I used the tailbase from Wolfpack, and on my photobucket page you can see pictures of how I measured it up and joined them to make the tail.
The opening from the -C was covered with sheet styreene and sanded to shape. Think I got it a little high at the end, towards the tailpipe, but wouldn't change it now.
Actually soon to start another one - filling the tailbaseopening with putty this time, to see if it is possible to get the parachute a bit further down to correct the angle.
Decals are a mix from various places, but Vingtor is the best aftermarket. www.vingtor.net Actually need some more decals from Vingtor come to thing about it....

Nice model.I must say that this is one of the best models that I have seen in a long time.While the directions way understate the amount of time you will spend making the model I would recommend this plane to anybody. It is turned out to be a beautiful model that is closer to the real thing than any of the other models in the market.
