Senior Airman Steve "Gibby" Gibson is a mechanic at Hill AFB. After participating in Red Flag & Maple Flag exercises, he deployed to Qatar in 2003 for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Gibby experienced a crew chiefs worst nightmare when he saw his aircraft depart on a mission only to not return. Read Gibby's adventures and his wonderful means of escape with music.

Thank ya Tank, I do try.. but the pitot probe is a bit sharper! I speak from expierence! Just got back from Iraq.. So add that to the list of deployments.. haha

Seen that first hand, kid ran his face right into the pitot while deployed to Turkey, I have had a few near hits myself.
