Restored to original configuration for display at Hampton Roads History Center, Virginia.

Rome ADC, New York

Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio marked as 79-0317 and painted like the South Carolina ANG, 157th TFS. Anti-spin parachute support mounts were still on the aircraft. The USAF museum exchanged this aircraft for an F-16 that actually flew in the war as the museum prefers war veterans then early development aircraft.

Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs.

Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio located in the experimental aircraft hanger. It was flown into the museum on February 11th, 2001 having been retired just the previous month on January 9th, 2001.

Edwards AFB Museum, California but was not restored.

Frontiers of Flight Museum, Dallas, Texas. Displayed in the lizard scheme with 'technology demonstrator' titles on the tail. The aircraft currently lacks the exhaust nozzle.

Located at Misawa AB, Japan

Moved to the Misawa Aviation Science Museum which is on the east end of the base as part of an out door display. The aircraft was put on a pedestal and is on loan indefinitely as a static display. A name of City of Wenatchee was put on the base of the tail.
