Naci Esener completed conversion training at 312th Scorpion squadron (Luke AFB) in 1987. He was part of the first group of six F-16 pilots from the Turkish Air Force.
He reached 1,000 flight hours in the F-16 in January 1990 and retired from air force in January 1996.
