Reached his first 1,000 hours at Nellis AFB with the USAF Fighter Weapons School in 1988. He reached 2,000 hours as the DO of the Air National Guard/Air Force Reserve Test Center at Tucson, AZ in 1993.

He retired from the Air Force in Nov 1994 with over 2,500 hrs in the F-16.

He flew the F-16A (including the ADF version), F-16C (Blk 30/32/40/42/52), the AFTI F-16 at Edwards AFB and the F-16 test bed at General Dynamics.

2006: Currently a Captain in the B-737 flying for Southwest Airlines.
