Brigadier Morten Klever was born on August 30th, 1960. He was appointed Brigadier on November 8th, 2003 and assigned the command of 132 Airwing at Bodø MAS. Brigadier Klever graduated from pilot training and the air force war college in 1986, air force staff college in 1993, Forsvarshøgskolan/Sverige (Armed forces academy/Sweden) in 1998, and Forsvarets Høgskoles hovedkurs 2004 (Norwegian armed forces academy main course 2004). He has served as:
  • Pilot at 336 and 331 squadron,
  • Air safety officer at Bodø MAS,
  • Second in command of 331 squadron,
  • G3 Air Branch/HQ UNPROFOR,
  • Commander 332 squadron,
  • Serving officer air service inspectorate,
  • Serving officer IRF,
  • SO Air Operation Center/HQ North,
  • CO Fighter aircraft office/ Air service inspectorate,
  • Chief Offensive Operations CAOC 9 among other as Deputy Wing Commander and Ops Group Commander/ Manas in the timeframe September 02 – January 03. For his service in Afghanistan he was awarded the [U.S.] Bronze Star. In the timeframe 2003-04 he served as Commander of Norwegian Battle Lab & Experimentation (NOBLE).
