Happy Hooligans win General J.J. Pesch Flight Safety Trophy

The 119th Fighter Wing/178th Fighter Squadron was awarded the 2004 General John J. Pesch Flight Safety Trophy for flying 65,171 accident-free hours on the F-16.
The award was presented to the Commander of the 119 FW, Colonel Robert Becklund on September 16, 2004.
The 178th FS "Happy Holigans" also won the trophy in 2000, 2002, and 2003. Prior to flying the F-16, the 178th FS flew 51,609 hours with the F-4 and 20,000 with the F-101, all accident free.
