| We are putting an old F-16A in our airpark, tail number 75-0746. Anyone know of any Regs on preping them for permenant static display? Any advice? We got this bird a few years ago from LM in Fort Worth. Thanks. |

That's great SwampFox80
Contact the USAF museum in Dayton, Ohio. They own the aircraft (most likely, 99% confident) so they are the ones you want to please. They are pretty strict and if you don't take care of the aircraft they can and will take it away. They will want a yearly report as to what is being done to take care of the aircraft.
I know for sure there is at least one member on this board that has been involved in a similar project, perhaps he can respond to this post, even if by private message to you.
One question, when did you first receive the aircraft, even the exact date if possible? Also let us know when the aircraft is finally put on display and send photos for the sites reference.
Good luck,
Jon |
