This topic was already started on a different thread by Jake Melampy but want to create a dedicated topic.
Any one have any information on when the 445th FLTS began operations with the F-16? Public affairs for Edwards AFB is unable to determine when the unit began F-16 operations.
I am assuming this is all very, very new as so little information is available and as of yet no aircraft are known to be painted with 445th FLTS markings.

| What happens with the 412FLTS? Will (has?) it disband? Or will they separate the testing between the 412FLTS for A/B/MLU and the 445FLTS for C/D? |

84-1317 has the 445th Tail Flash

| Back when I left Edwards in 2003 the 445 took over the TPS orange and white F-16's. The 412th still had all of the grey jets. Then once I left the F-22 "chase jets" 86-0359/83-1118 and 83-1119 also went to "Shadow" the 445th F-16 Unit. Please correct me if I am wrong. That is just what I remember. |
