Homestead lost another jet last night off of the Florida Keys. I'm told the pilot is alright just mild hypothermia.

3!

Another successful "ops check" of the ACES II! Glad no one's hurt.

This is the second jet we lost in less than a year, but thank god for the "Aces II" ejection seat, both times it worked flawlessly! Both Pilots are fine and able to fly another day! Cheers

Does anyone know of a site that gives the stats on aircraft/helicopter crashes by aircraft type/make? Just out of curiousity, to see how many have crashed vs. how many have rolled off of the line? (Curious to see the results on all aircraft- civilian as well)? I have never seen those types of numbers on Jane's or fas.org?

Just a guess but the F-14 most likely has the worst loss rate versus production

I bet the AV-8 ranks up there pretty high.

History Channel had a special on the AV-8 where they said it had more pilot fatalities/crashes than any other type.

Put the Harrier #1 and the Tomcat #2. Both just waiting for you to screw up so it can kill you!
