Though I don't participate in the conversations here I do like reading all the informed opinions and discussions on this board. Since I have no idea, perhaps those here would know, will the latest problems with the F-15 impact in any way opinion of the F-22? Might order numbers be revisited? Or am I out to lunch; apples and oranges?  |

| Absolutely not. The question is valid. However, whether or not this will eventually impact the total F-22 purchase is still up in the air. |

| could the Eagle problems be part of Planned Obselecence? We were supposed to have 600 Raptors nearly a decade ago to replace all the Eagles. F-15s werent supposed to still be in the air now at all. Remember ATF started soon after Eagle was born. |

| Well the good news is that the funding that was to be used to begin closing down the Raptor line has been diverted to fixing F-15's...time will tell on more orders. |
