Wow ... Any thoughts on this one ?
http://www.f-16.net/news_article2661.html
I'm telling you lads, need the fire "T" handle ... One Pull, all EP's accomplished, then get out.
In Flight, one pull and all fluids to the motor shut-off, and instant EPU activation ... make sense? |

| Yeah I remember hearing the tones for Ground Emergency "Aircraft Fire" but didn't know that it was that bad. I was too busy at work to go looking. |

| Actually the damage to the jet was little, it was fixed and ready to go back home a few days later, new brake and tire and she was ready to go. |

Is that were the leak initiated, Left Brake? reading the story I assumed the B-system pump pressure line or pressure manifold fractured to cause that much atomization.
(nevermind) Here is the link from Shaw?

Must of got pretty hot as the coating on the door actuator lines took a beating |

| b system pump pressure line to the manifold backed off. no real damage to the acft besides burnt panythose and cloth covering for lines. if it wasnt for the investigation, it would have been back up and running in a day instead of 3. |

| You think the those jets of the metals era are that bad, you out to see what the F22 and F-35 fire patterns are like. Ever seen an F-117 go up in smoke before the flames? Fascinating, it happens so fast you don't know if the smoke or flame came first! |
