This topic is related to our General F-16 news Kunsan Airmen paint first arctic F-16 for Eielson

SSgt. Cory Goines, thumbs through a technical order manual for finishing instructions while SrA. Kevin Stevens and Matt Wuensch take care of the final details on a newly painted arctic scheme on F-16C block 30 #86-0305 on November 30th, 2007. Sergeant Goines and Amn. Stevens and Wuensch, are Aircraft Structural Maintenance Journeymen with the 8th Maintenance Squadron. The 8th MXS painted the aircraft in preparation for an upcoming Eielson/Kunsan F-16 swap. The aircraft is the first in the unit to have an arctic scheme. [USAF photo by TSgt. Quinton T. Burris]

Looks like a brand-new job for you, AfterburnerDecalsScott! The unique painting is awesome and looks very smart. Probably you will have some problems with overlaying of markings over the paintings. But this amazing brand-new colorful Viper outfit should be available for F-16 plastic modelers in a short time!

Associated to the pictures (four all in all) is the following news article:

305 was in my flight, our flt had all the odd tail numbers and the other flt had the even, wonder if they still do that. It was almost lost in 91, had a low lube light and IFE'd in, shut down on the taxiway before EOR. There was about a quart of eng oil under it and none in the oil tank, was real close to having the eng seize up, the eng shop took the hit on that one since it was the 1st flt after teardown. But that was a hard time for the eng shop, if I remember right a team from the eng depot came TDY to Kunsan to help them out.

Can those contacts get us additional Korean pics? I see one landing in the background of picture 1. Still need a lot of those. Korea's vipers are hard to catch.

I have a bunch from WP and OS that I'll upload when the sheets for them are done.

Here's a wicked profile Shawn Hull did in the meantime!
