(Anybody remember the Northrop ad with that tagline in AF magazine? Only, had one o' dese taxi parallel to a landing B-2? Maybe give ol' Sam Nunn a call, sure he's tipped many a beer with the boys from Dobbins on THAT one) |

| Interesting jets--wonder how much of a part politics played in that competition. I've heard some pretty good things about the YF-23. |

| As far as I know, the only real advantage the f-22 had over said YF-23 was low speed manouverability. Otherwise, all else was equal or better. Too bad the Navy didn't do with it what they did with the YF-17/F-18 program. Would have been a better replacement for the F-14 IMHO than the F-18 Superbug. |
