At least he made his mark there before they lost all of their Falcons. Crying or Very sad

Sorry to be sad, I am not taking all of these aircraft retirements too well lately. I still say three cheers for his 4,000 and I am toasting his milestone with a fifth of Stoli- especially due to his last roosting place! Wink

Lots of Stoli and Diet Coke going down right now... Guiness

According to this article, there should be 33 pilots who have accomplished this milestone. We have only 25 pilots in our database who have reached it. So if anyone know the names of those other 8 that we are missing, please let us know.

Greets,

I think it's awesome that we all recognize the accomplishments of these Pilots who are truly on the front line! Wouldn't be interesting though if the Mechanics got a similar type of recognition for the number of hours put in working on the F-16?!? Could you imagine the "High Hour Patch" for F-16 maintenance?!? It might exceed who knows how many hours..... Just a Thought! Congrats to Lt. Col. Middlebrooks for his outstanding accomplishment!!

"His advanced age allows him to provide unique explanations of tactics. His personal leadership and dedication to diet and fitness truly set him apart at every level."

Man that's harsh, I love how crew dogs find every little opportunity to rip on a guy.

Bravo. Not only on their accomplishments in the cockpit, but also outside of it.One must be held in great esteem indeed to avoid the unit and service branch politics that send so many good airmen's careers to the trash bin or a dead end desk post.

For those who worked with/for "Bull," we all know what the cost (on us) it was for him to reach his precious 4K hrs. Only other dude like him in my career was "Doc" Foglesong.

'Nuff said.
