Is that the 2nd 480th FS pilot to pass 4000 hours this year? Or has there been any others earlier in the year?

Congratulations Tonka, those of us who'll stop short of that milestone all hate you... in a professionally good way.

Do you think that its normal for an f-16 pilot to accumulate 1000hrs in...say like 4-5years, averaging 200hrs/year? peace time and deployment both inclusive?...and @Asif, no Pakistan Air Force Pilot has reached 3000hrs,...am i right? although there are many with 1500+hrs, and some even 2000hrs or a bit more, considering that we have certain limitations in operational flying.

There is a NATO standard dictating that Nato pilots should accumulate 175-200 hrs per calendar year - don't have the exact figure. But if you do the math on some of these high-flyers, you will see that quite a few average 350+ hrs per calendar year during their career.

350hours per year, that equates to about what...like almost 1sortie daily?..or it still remains an average at best

Depends on mission duration. Many with combat hours can easily rack up 5-8 hrs per mission. Doesn't take long then....
