F-16XL
weight: close to 8000kg ~ to entry service will be 9000kg
wing area: close to 62 sm
power: close to 12000kg

Mirage4000

weight: close to 10000kg ~ to entry service will be 11000kg
wing area: close to 73 sm
power: 2×9000=18000kg

both of them never entried service
both of them could carry m-range a2a missile
both of them was designed as delta-wing, but F-16XL with LERX, mirage4000 with canard

We knew one of reason of F-16XL lost the multi-roll fighter competittion with F-15E is its payload less than F-15E. but report out of NASA has proved that maneuver is quite good.

Mirage4000 is too heavy for Franch, but its manuver at air show present more agile than Mirage 2000 because of canard maybe.

Then, what's your opinion?

F-16XL lost to the F-15E because the Air Force wanted to keep the F-15 production line going. The XL was at least as good as the F-15, at a lower cost.

At a2a aspect, I even think F-16XL will outdo F-15E, but Mirage4000.
I don't know why you say USAF chose F-15E because they wnat to keep the F-15 production line going, since the time is o early that producing F-15 can be remained longer than that.

Production of the F-15C/D was approaching completion, simple as that. As you know it takes several years to begin production of a new variant (F-15E), so to ensure a smooth production line, it was necessary to select the E several years before completion of the C/D production. Four years passed from winning the competition to delivery of the first production E. F-15E production extended the production for several more years.
