Hi! New guy here. This is really a great place. I'm learning tons of info on this site!
Got a question: How does the WCMD guide?
Does it home in on what your FCR/TGP points at, meaning it has some tracking/homing ability,
or is it just like a dumb bomb that has INS and only isn't affected by wind? Meaning if you aim the nose slightly off the target point, the bomb will also miss?
Thanks! |

It has a tail kit that inertially steers the weapon to target coordinates while compensating for wind and adverse weather.

So basically, it is still guided, just not as accurate as GPS or laser? |
