Get me an "Exhaust Sample" from that fueler will ya. & why you're at it, get some "Flight Line" too...

Poor guy. It'll be a loooong time before he lives this one down.

Hopefully he'll make Chief one day and somebody will still have these pictures to show at his retirement.

So what are the requirements to pass?

Check out the proper use of ear plugs in his nose)?

This guy is really taken advantage of...poor guy!

That's awesome. I love playing tricks on new guys. In T-6s I'd tell the new guys to save some prop wash and slipstream from thier first solos. But the best one is to have them call for the crew van with the mask tester. I had one guy try seven times before he figured it out from all of us laughing. Laughing

Well last flu shot season we got one of our FNG's good.

Well it was the friday before drill and we where told we had flu shots this weekend. He was out working mandays like me, and chief told him since this is his first flu shot for the military he was goin to have to get it in his nut sack. He looked at us funny, and said we where screwing with him. I said yeah, you have to get it there cause the blood vessles are closest to the skin, and it gets into the body quicker that way. Then one of the guys goes with it and throws in and you have to shave you sack. He thought we where screwing with him and he was like naw i ain''t doin it. So about an hour later a nurse from med called for him. On the phone all we heard was "yeah, yeah, ok, are you serious, i thought they were screwing with me, ok it will be done, thanks"

Saturday, he comes in with his head hung low, and he said he g/f helped him and it felt funny. Well i got tasked to take him over to get his cause i had to get mine. They where doing it over in ops, which has huge windows in the front lobby, where they were giving them, and he got nervous cause he was like we are doin it right here? Right infront of the open windows? i was like sure, it's nothing new, everyone gets it done, no big deal. Lucky there was one guy there and he had his shirt off. He looked at me like wtf, i said this wasn't his first, so he gets it in his arm like i would. we walk up and he starts undoing his pants. the lady giving the shot looks at him like he is nuts, and then he puts it together. But the whole ops squadron knew about it and they all came out and had a laugh.

Later that day we had a comanders call, and the comander thanked him for his bravery. And he got a new nickname, Scrogan. or scro for short.

We got one of our new guys with the old exhaust sample a few months back. He was skeptical at first, but we had MXS Super come out with an ESM guy (F-117 exhaust system) and explain that they needed a sample before the jet went in for phase to make sure none of the coating was burning off the tailpipe. We had him put on the full LOX suit and try to catch the exhaust in trash bags to take to NDI for testing. He must have been behind the jet for a good 15 minutes trying to get a full bag and tie it shut before it deflated. He finally gave up and the Wing King, who saw the whole thing from across the ramp, gave the kid a coin for being a good sport.

I was TDY to Bahrain right after a vasectomy, you should have seen the look on the Med techs face when I asked her to remove my stitch's......LOL.......She did very well...! Thumb
