hello
does anyone have detailed imagery and/or schematics of the AN/AAQ-20 Sharpshooter assembly and its associated mounting for the F-16? I'm interested in building a model of the ROCAF aircraft and will be needing references to build this pod. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
cheers,
john chung |

| I think the AAN-20 is called Pathfinder and Sharpshooter is a downgraded AAQ-14 LANTIRN. Which are you looking for? |

yes habu2, that picture is here on F-16.net too. Is RoCAF the only user of the AAQ-20?
PS: I wonder why they had the 370 tip painted red? |

Ayep... the pathfinder is what I'm looking for, sorry for the confusion and thanks for straightening me out. I already have all the aforementioned images, nevertheless I'd like something more dimensional.
pumpkin: ROCAF (capital O, btw) paints their external tank tips specific to squadrons or wing, I think; it's either blue, red or yellow.
cheers,

My apologies for the typo . Yeah. I have realised the 370 is tied to the sqn/wing after running thru' a number of photo. |

Well, I'm not located in Taiwan so I wouldn't know. In fact, I've little source for ROCAF aircrafts so I thought perhaps the guys here would know a bit more.
After all, this is an F-16 forum! =D
