Feel free to discuss anything here - as long as it is F-16 related.

I've heard of the following squadron motto's

77th FS "Once A Gambler, Always A Gambler"
18th FS "Have at It" [Edit correction "Have at YOU"]
510th FS "Buzzards Rule"

I assume these aren't official, any that are official? I'd like to hear about as many other squadron motto's as possible.

31 MS. The Eager Beavers. This was at Homestead. The funny part was the squadron patch had the Beaver from the Beaver Hunt section of Hustler magazine.

I was at the 77th for two years and their motto was the "All Aces, No Jokers" and I'm at the 18th now and their motto is "Have at YOU!"

I like the Motto's that squadrons use on there sister units. A good example is at Ramstein those of us in the 512th called the 526th.....Tin Heads......real name Knights. We were the Dragons and we always joked that they were hard and crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy in the middle.

And of course at Kunsan us Juvats call the 35th the Tampons.......I loved that one...!

That 36th motto isn't official. It was used and started while I was there in 99. Our swing shift started using it and had subdued fiend patch hats made. I still have mine. Where's the rest of you?

Did that survive the political correct era? And is this a squadron name not a motto?

555th FS used to be WFHR " world famous highly respected " we always had two definitions... W F H R " workers f***ed hard regularly " or W F H R " we fly holidays regularly " cuz back in the days of trading the "real world" missions of overflying bosnia and kosovo from 95-99 the 555th always seemed to get stuck with the big holidays on "alerts" while the 510th sat at home
If it aint broke dont fix it, and yes Sir its supposed to leak like that ;)

For those that were at Ramstein during the fighter days of the 512th and 526th we also had, "Once a Dragon, always a Dragon but once a Knight is not enough."
