I was wondering...
Do small 500lbs LGBs get carried on TERs? Ive only seen them carried in pairs. If they dont get carried in TERs, why not? Is it cause they dont fit?

GBU-12 LGB's are carried on TER's in a slant load (lower and outboard) but not the inboard due to clearance issues with the fins. GBU-38 JDAM's are not carried on TER's because there is no data link cable. Two can be carried on the BRU-57.

GBU-38's are not carried because the TER-9's are not Smart Weapon capable, gotta have 1760. Your correct on the slant loadings.

Early in Operation Northern Watch we used two GBU 12's mounted on parent stations, to cut down on drag and give more in country loiter time.
