I just received an official confirmation that from next Monday onwards, 7 F-16s of the Belgian Airforce will come over to Weelde reserve airbase for storage, namely :

3x Monday, 19th April
2x Tuesday, 20th April
2x Wednesday, 21st April

Arrival is expected at approx. 1:30pm, but it would be possible that they will come later, depending on the weather conditions.

Serial numbers and origin bases are still unknown.

The mobile barrier has been placed today.

Note: Weelde AB is a NATO reserve airfield where the Belgian Air Force stores its redundant F-16s

Yesterday on April 19th the following F-16's have arrived at Weelde for storage :

F-16AM FA75
F-16AM FA78
F-16AM FA90

So it seems that the Belgian Air Component are starting to put their MLUs into storage.

On April 20th the following arrived at Weelde :

FA46
FA48

On April 21st the next batch of F-16's arrived at Weelde :

FA47 still wearing its special markings of 1 Squadron
FA50
