| Well........... it's official now. We have reverted back to our old tail code of "NM" The dickie bird tail is on it's way out. It is really a shame to see our tails revert back to the boring and unexciting. Oh well. 86-0340 just rolled out with the old Block 40 tail and 87-0310 is getting painted as we speak. It truly is a sad day for photographers and modelers. |

Hey Sean, when did 86-0340 come out of the paint shop? And did 340 have the "birdie" tail markings?
Very sad indeed! |

| Came out of paint Tuesday. None of the new Cannon birds (86-0330, 86-0340, 86-0342) will ever see the bird. I guess it will be a while for 87-0310 as well. They pulled it back out of paint and are gonna fly it some more. |

| My guess is that the tail change just another example of the Guard losing it's individuality and turning into Active Duty light. I see the same thing happening in all areas, all over the ANG. It's sad to see, but I suppose there is nothing that can be done to stop it. |
