Can anyone ID this paint scheme? Which country does it belong to?
TNIAU F-16A block 15 shot during an aerobatic training at Iswahjudi AFB Show. It's just "Thundering climbing" after T/O with afterburner lit on. |

habu2, that would be a TNIAU (Indonesian) Viper. Here is a short write up of the Millennium scheme by Eddy.

| Cool, thanks. I had not seen that scheme before, only the original blue/gray scheme. |

| I concur, I got Alex's drawings with this new Millenium scheme. It's been around since 2000. |

I see a dark line on the spine of the jet in the photo, is that really on the jet or is it an artifact? (dust/scratch/hair on neg?)
boy I'm just full of questions today... |

If anyone would be able to point out which registration this bird has, this would be most welcome.

habu2,
you might want to check out HMT page. They're to push out the Asian Viper Decal which will include the Millennium scheme.
And also Aztec page. Not too sure if the Venimous Vipers 2 series; Indonesia includes that scheme.
cheers, |

sharky-f16,
Great photographs, thanks for sharing them. It's pretty rare to see Indonesian Air Force F-16 photographs!

Looks like Porteguese markings on an ex- ADF jet.
However it looks alot like a model race car for some reason... so I have to wonder if this isn't a shot of a model? maybe it's just the way the pic appears on my poor screen.
Pretty cool though... |

| It's a locally modified smoke pipe for demonstration purpose. Perhaps Major Agung can confirm this? |
