I once went to a boxing match and a hockey game broke out.

I like College and Pro Football, Hockey (eh?), and Baseball.

My favorite sport is the Formula 1... I watched all the Seasons since 1993 (I was three years old, -not joking-) I remember that the first race I saw was Estoril 1993. The winner of that race was Michael Schumacher, and second place was Alain Prost... Since then, I became a fan of Schummy, and when he signed for Ferrari in 1996, I became a big fan of the Cavallino...

Ferrari For Ever!!!

OH and paintball! nothing quite as painful as taking one in my unprotected throat, and few things are funnier than shooting someone in the face-mask and watching them freak out/scream/fall down.

I was kind of the team sniper and spent like a full minute lining up that head shot^

I forgot to mention IRL (gonna be real interesting now that CART is back at The 500 with their own equipment and the new dates)

Don't jab too hard at WWE--it (usually) looks real enough, and apart from the steroid-users, pro wrestlers are pretty athletic. I still watch wrestling every now and then, but I know that it's fake, but that's why it's called sports-entertainment. I can't be too hard, I don't watch NASCAR because it seems to be just left turn after left turn after left turn ad nauseum.

Dont get me wrong, the WWE guys are clearly athletic, I just take issue with them calling it "wrestling". As someone who has wrestled, i think shows like WWE take away from the sweetness of what we (the wrestlers) did/do. One of my classmates actually asked me if I had ever cheese-graded someone else's forehead. They should change the name of "pro-wrestling" to "[Steroid-inflated] Brawl-Fest." I'd be okay with that. I might even watch it.....

They should make a sport that involves several dudes beating on each other with wooden practice swords (like in Kendo). Kicking and Acrobatic tricks would be allowed. It would NOT be choreographed. there could be multiple opponents holding multiple training weapons. No shields Very Happy

>>>We used to train with practice swords in Aikido - I loved it, but always wanted to learn more aggressive moves than I was taught. We got mostly defensive moves (you know, in case we had a sword and we were ever attacked by another dude with a sword) and Iado (sp?) - which is the "art of drawing the sword"

There are a few that have taken steroids, but the WWE is cracking down like mad--after the media lambasted them for what Chris Benoit did, they started dishing out pinkslips to wrestlers that were using steroids. That reminds me, if pro wrestling isn't a sport, why is Sports Illustrated even mentioning it in their articles about steroids in sports?

I learned that in art class, I just was never good at it Very Happy

Lol

I was deece. Not great. I trained with my dad for like 6 years in a couple of arts. I had to quit for wrestling, but my dad did it for a lot longer than I did and actually beat the sh!t out of me with it (Iado) when we whipped out the practice swords yesterday. Its all good though - I whacked him in the head and spin-kicked him in the side. (we have a strange relationship....) Jk - fighting is good for male bonding IMO

I was a swimmer in Jr. High School and High school. Took up Judo in college and done Jiu-Jitsu since getting out. I joined a gym with a bunch of dumb fighter jocks (like the MMA fighter jocks, not the flying kind) who don't know how to train. So my shoulder got screwed up... AGAIN. I'm not even 24 yet and I'm quite confident I'm going have to have rotator cuff surgery by my late thirties. I love grappling, but keep getting hurt by idiots and having to take time off to heal.

Rotator Cup surgery is painful, I hate it a few years ago. if that happens to you, my suggestion is to take all the pain you can during "rehab".

The sooner you get that mobility back, the better you will feel.

Man, it hurt so much at times I thought I might pass out, I told my guy, if I did pass out, then just keep going with the stretching, I need to use my arm again, three months later ( and a shitload of tears) I was good to go. I will never take that simple movement of my arm for granted again....I hope you dont need it...trust me on this
