It is being moved from Sheppard AFB to I think as a Gate Guard for Sheppard AFB?

After lifting the fuselage of F-16A block 10 #79-0307 off a trailer bed, airmen steady it to be moved onto the bed of the truck in the background on July 23rd, 2007. The F-16, which was originally from Sheppard AFB, will become a static display at the air park near the main gate.

Can anyone identify this F-16?

Can't remember the full serial.... 78-3?? It was one of the oldest F-16 trainers at Shepard, originally from Hill, replaced by the NDANG jets that were decommissioned last year.

This Sheppard acft was trailered to Cannon to be put on static display at the air park at the front gate since the 16's are leaving. Maybe somebody from CC can get the ser#?

Is Cannon going to do the paint job, and if so in what colors?
