I wouldn't know specifics, but based on what I know and common sense, this is how the details rank in making stealth:
1) shaping - the overwhelming factor, all things being equal
2) inner structure - things like curved inlets, exhaust design etc.
3) coatings - gold canopy, RAM
If one thing isn't covered, the a/c isn't stealthy, so they are all important. Another thing that is vital in making stealth PRACTICAL is tactics. Tactics in the end are the dominant factor in making stealth usable in combat. |
