It seems that these shades of primer are all the rage these days.

I tried to find that same pic on the L/M page without success. I'd love to see it blown up!

If you use Firefox right click on the image and select "View Image". It opens up a new page with the image in it's true size.

And in Internet Explorer, you should be able to right-click on the image and select "Save Picture As..." to save it to your hard disk. From there, you should be able to view it in its true size.

Nothing much, it's simply the 100th Raptor manufactured thus far.

Well, primer is just primer. Smile As far as I know, Raptor 4100's top coat is going to sport the same scheme as all of the others.

All Raptor's delivered should have the same paint job. Contrary to some websites, there has never been any other paint job, like desert for instance, applied to the jet operationally.

In addition to the colors of the primer, I think a lot of people believe there's a desert paint scheme because the Raptor's top coat is reflective (not for aesthetics) and can take on a brownish-orange appearance if it catches the morning or evening sunlight just right (just one example--it varies a lot).

I totally think that LockMart needs to invest in purple, pink and chartreuse primer colors. That would make the roll-outs much more interesting.

The V-22 seems to use the same kind of paint. Looks VERY interesting in certain conditions.

It certainly does, and I bet it looks pretty dark in certain IR wavelengths, too. Wink

Three words, girlfriend: Fab-Yoo-Lus! As for the top coat, I think the Raptor would look simply DIVINE in a fuchsia and teal motif, don't you? Laughing
