I've been riding since I was 11 yrs. old. I've always loved riding and was just curious if there was anyone else here who might ride?
Currentlly I ride a Honda Shadow ACE 750, (harley look a like) But I hope to 1 day upgrade to a Heritage Softail.
I'd love to hear from any others who ride. |

Yep, I sure do ride... Almost every day too... I still own five bikes, they aren't all in working order though, but they're still mine... Started with an XT-250 Yamaha, then a GPz Kawasaki, then a 750 Suzuki Katana (the pop-up headlight model) After that I bought an RGV-250 to go racing with and my current ride is my old faithful 1990 GSX-R1100..
One day I'd love to move on up to a current model GSX-R1000 kind of like what the Ghost Rider uses (actually EXACTLY like his bike if I'm honest), but money is once again a factor in that decision.. PLus the fact my wife would kill me if I spent $20,000 on a new Suzuki and another $30,000 on titanium exhaust, springs, ported and polished heads, power commander and all the other "go fast" bits the Ghost uses...
Here's a couple of shots of what I DO have now though.. First is my good ol' GSX-R11, followed by my RGV as she was before I lost the front and decked her at Phillip Island... |

Yes sir ... That is always a limiting factor, because wives want titanium faced appliances and supercharged Hoovers |

Aussie Falcon Freak,
Thats a sweet couple of rides you got there my friend.
My days of riding your style have long since past, but i still enjoy being in the wind. (just doing it on a cruiser now)
I had my days though. I had my curve straightener when i was younger.(mid 80's) When I was 12 I started racing moto-x, and i havent looked back, excpet to see who's doors I just blew off.(it takes steel nuts to ride moto-x) |

Thanks Tim... Yes, I was thrilled with the result of the paint job on the RGV when I finally finished it... Took me weeks to get the "blood" runs right... Made it all the more difficult when I crashed her... Oh yeah, since the shot of me with the 1100 was taken I have had her rusty Yoshimura exhaust ceramic coated inside and out... Now the pipe will probably outlast the bike...
I agree, moto-x and super-x are truly nutty sports... I was always pretty good at crashing off road... Although I have my fair share of scars from my ON road escapades too mind you... Especially my left knee....... Glad they got me a top plastic surgeon to do the work... |

I wish I could say I've never been down on any of mine, but I can't. More roadrash on my a$$ than original skin.
I like to say "you never know how fast you can go till you crash" But wisdom has since taken control of my thought process. which means that I no longer would make a competitive rider. (sigh) but I found my happy place on my cruiser.
You be careful out there |
