Just wondering how many Screamin Eagles post here.

I was in the 322 TRS @ BMT.

So if you know the answer chime in.

What is a 322 Airman?

Sir a 322 airman is hardworking, motivated, trustworthy, dedicated never ever to be out done, that's because we're second to none! Hoorah hoo!!!! Hell yes, I was a 322 airman. I don't know if I got the chime all right but I was definitely there!! Is SSgt Perez still there? He was a mean ol' SOB, but taught us a lot about ourselves! When were you there?

Yep you got it right. Perez was a Tech when i went through in 2004/2005.

He made up a jodie on the spot about 9/11 while we were on our Airman's run. It was one hell of a jodie.

I remember that same jodie! You sure he was a tech? He was only a staff when I went through in 2005. That dude scared the sh*t out of us! What flight were you?

Ok maybe he was a Staff it's been a minute.

I was flight 093

T.I.'s SSgt's Smith, Halpain, McGee, Burkey, and Robleto

Section Leader was TSgt Winter

I was there Dec 7 2004 -Jan 24 2005

I think i was sleep walking when we marched down the bomb run at graduation

Wow. I don't remember any of those kind of details about BMT. Mostly just that it sucked.

I remember Smith and Halpain but I don't even remember our brother flight's TIs. Perez was our section leader, I think that guy taught me more about myself than anyone I know besides my father. He was very hard on us but at the same time we trusted him with our lives. He was there for 8 years and he said we were his last flight, although I think he's still pushing flights. We tried out best to get him an honor flight but we sucked. I had a lot of fun in basic and sometimes wish I could go back (as crazy as that sounds). I've never experienced that commrodery before or since. It was a very edjucational 6 weeks.

322 as well, summer of 2000. Maybe I didn't pay attention as much as some others, but basic was hardly a life-changing thing for me. Learned how to march, salute, and some AF history, but there wasn't anything along the lines of "learning about myself". Of course, my instructor didn't pose for playboy, either. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I didn't have a brother or sister flight. I just have a memory for odd random crap. Someone was asking me about BMT so it jogged my memory.

Well everyone had different experiences, some didn't like it because they didn't like getting yelled at. Others figured out how to handle it and had a good time.

I got used to the routine and got bored. But I mean it was kinda fun and it kinda sucked all at the same time. It's what you make of it.
