You "bit" in that post when you stuck your nose into it and misread what I wrote. I wrote "lots" and you read "all belongs". Are you a native speaker of English or did you immigrate from somewhere else?
You're commenting that my English is poor when you have misinterpreted what I said. You said "...We got lots of money". First of all, nice grammer and secondly America hasn't got lots of money. The US hasn't just thought 'Right we have lots of money, lets buy large number of military aircraft worth $40 million each'. They have acquired them because of the need for them, not because they can have them.
The EU, which I must point out I am not a fan of, unlike other treaties and trade blocs has its own parliament. Brussels has a lot of control even in the UK (which has a general public that largely opposes integration into the EU). Single currency? The Euro, heard of it? Only a few nations like the UK and Sweden don't have it yet (thank God). European courts can override decisions made in a lot of UK courts. The EU isn't a union of loosely tied states, far from it . I suggest you do some reading on it before stating you're so called facts about it.
Now keeping this relative to the forum, most military systems are now researched and developed by Europe and not one country on its own. This goes with a lot of other products as well in the civil market, so yes if you want to compare GDP of the US to something, compare it to the EU.

LOL... Free? Do you mean the drug companies, doctors, nurses and medical institutions all work for no pay? No, all you have there is a health care system paid for by the unfairly progressive ripping off of the taxpayer. Sorry, we just have to say NO to socialism here.
I'll rather pay a 10% flat tax and have no public education, welfare, retirement benefits or healthcare from the government than work 6 months out of a year to pay the politicians and public bureaucracy to provide me with garbage I don't necessarily agree with. Unfortunately, taxes is the US has become way too high and way too progressively bracketed, and we have way too much social services and other trappings of socialism. This is one area I like China way more than the US -- practically no taxes and a swim or sink capitalist economy. This is also in part why China is kicking our butts and the butts of you europeans.
Flame wars and political arguments are two things we try to keep away from around here. I'm locking this thread down for further review by the admin team.
