Hi, I thought i'd start this topic in the event that there are any F-16 units deployed there. Just F-15s now, but you never know.

| Hi, lu! Are you talking about Bagram AB, Afghanistan? If yes, there are A-10s and F-15Es from USAF, together with other coalition aircraft. Sorry, but at the moment I will not post any further well-known deployment details. What´s your intend? |

Hi again, lu! But please understand: In the past, F-16s were never deployed to Bagram AB, Afghanistan, for OEF - neither from USAF nor from coalition partners. In contrast: Joint Base Balad (formerly Balad AB) in Iraq still hosts three USAF F-16C expeditionary fighter squadrons (all in all 36 aircraft!). And that´s my intent to pay regular attention to the great topic Balad Air Base Deployment Update.
Related to that, at least currently a topic Afghanistan Air Base Deployment Update as suggested by you should be not related to F-16.net. If you are really interesting in Bagram AB OEF deployments, please check my topic F-15E Strike Eagles at Bagram AB on http://www.f-15estrikeeagle.com/
And you can be sure that all current flying squadrons at Bagram AB are well-known to me, including Navy Prowlers... |

Cool, thank you. My intent was that as well, just a hobby to know what is going on. I watch the military channel all the time and i'm just "into" these types of things. I will visit your site!

| Feel free to contact me via PM, lu! I´m still very busy to document all A/OA-10 and F-15E deployments to Bagram. |

| Special thanks for your posted deployment preview, Master-of-Disaster! Is that first-hand info, related to coalition OEF deployments? |

It's info from the Belgian military website if I'm not mistaken. www.mil.be
But I should check that.
Tomorow I'm visiting Koksijde Air Base (open door/airshow), so maybe I could get some first-hand intell.
I'll let you know! |

Didn't get the chance to talk to anyone from 31 sqn, but the four Belgian Vipers will be birds from that squadron, from the 10th Wing based at Kleine Brogel.
The departure and arival dates seem to be correct: departure at KB 01/09/2008 and arrival at Kandahar 02/09/2008. |
