So I had a few beers last night and we decided to go check out the new Transformers movie... Ive gotta say the F-22 and other US AC, not to mention the cars, were the undoubted stars of the movie... although I fell in love with the chick a little bit haha.

You all aughta go see the raptor, warthog, and AC-130 open a can on the USAF's only real competition... 4 story autobots from Cybertron!

I want a transforming F-22 Twisted Evil

Yeah I saw it Monday night too...I was pretty pleased with the movie. It was the first movie to feature non-cg Raptors. I do wish they had left in some of the scenes they seemed to have cut out in the editing room as a couple of transitions seemed a like they were missing something. Overall its a definate purchase when it hits the DVD shelves!

Heresy! Decepticons were getting shot up not Autobots! Very Happy

If you can get past the horrible story, dialog and acting the effects and action are a hoot.

Who knew an F-22's AB flame is blue? Laughing But yeah, I walked out of the theater smiling nonetheless.

Transformers, I thought contained more aircraft than anything else. Great advertisment on how important planes are in defense!

I thought it would be a "kids" movie, I was wrong, I really enjoyed the graphics, very creative, I liked it - nice use of aircraft into battles machines - lots of cool USAF aircraft in use, I liked it alott

Good stuff, I also liked how they parked a Viper directly behind the Raptor on the ramp, that wouldn't have been pretty.

We already know that it has a "Mongo Mode"--maybe it has a heretofore unseen "Mecha Mode" too. No wonder the JASDF wants it so badly! Razz

Michael Bay...doesn't really matter who else worked on the movie. Smile

It probably looks blue (or bluish) at night or dusk in real life, I would imagine. I've never seen a hint of this hue in photos taken during the day, though.

Funny how the only Decepticon to escape unharmed at the end of the movie was one that transformed into a F-22A Raptor, aka Starscream. Very Happy

I think they did a pretty good job with the jets for this one. I haven't gotten to see the Raptor up close yet, but they looked really good for the movie.

Now, if you take the F-35 out of Live Free or Die Hard... Well, that scene, IMHO was worse off than Iron Eagle. But, maybe that's just me!

Saw Transformers the other night.....Oh dear. I should have turned the sound down! The visuals were cool though, everything else was awful. Going to watch Bruce in Die Hard in a bit, Yipee-Ki-Ay!! I love hokum! At least Bruce can "act" a little. Rolling Eyes I wonder if we see Hans Gruber and his uber cool Bader Meinhoff crew! Rolling Eyes
