Now what is up with the nicknames only for the pilots? I thought you could not have them on either sides?

I'm in the guard our nicknames are on the jets as well as the pilots callsign. We take all the names off when we goto war.

Too soon. Screw this new mission crap. I joined the U.S. Air Force, not the sit at the desk and look at a computer screen force.

I'm sure it was jsut too much of a hastle to take them off when they got there and store them and then put them back on to come home. Easier to just top off a few times on the way there.
