You got that right! How can you convince someone that claims you can have in effect multiple "bases" at one air base if indeed "it IS a base code...nothing more."
It would hurt nothing to paint VA on one or more of the Raptors. Why not one of the squadrons when they're all stood up?
I can't help it if you guys can't tell the difference on how its handled when it comes to Active, Guard and Reserves.
Like I said, it doesn't really matter what anyone of us thinks, its what the Air Force says...Who said I'm arguing anyways??

You can't. He'll just PM a mod and they will warn me to stop "harassing" him Its quite comical.
Uhhh...you must think I have some control over the mods here...I don't. I've been warned also and my posts removed. Glad to see you have no regard for what they've apparently been warning you about though...
Wow they updated that quick. VA is gone and not listed on there. TH is gone and not listed on there. I figured it would take years to update that list. I remember when Terre Haute went from HF to TH and they listed both up til like 96 or 97. And they stopped using HF in 91, 92

Yeah...I was also suprised to see VA off the list so fast. Look guys, like I said, I'm not trying to argue the point...simply pointing out what the Air Force has done/listed. Take care...
PS...I'm all for throwing VA up on some of the tails...Guard folks are the best people I've ever worked with in the Air Force! Best maintained equipment also...IMO.
It's not totally up to date but nice to look over anyway.

Hello scorpio 110367! Glad to hear you guys are putting the former Virginia F-16's to good use. I'm an Honorary Member of the Va.ANG Retiree's Association, and have been trying to keep the memories alive on this site. Here's a bittersweet picture of F-15C 86-219 on the last day at Richmond. Thanks for giving me a reason to post another picture! Kenneth Keeton

I visited the Virginia Air National Guard Base at Sandston, Virginia on June 30, 2008. The tenants of the facility now are: Va-ANG Joint Force Headquarters - Air, and the 200th Weather Flight.
It's nice to know some of the Va-ANG is still at Sandston. I had a good talk with Sgt. Kay who was on gate security that day, a very nice guy. KennethKeeton
