Repeated from Patches:
Anyone frequenting the net currently at Misawa??
I'm looking for a 3rd FS (JASDF) patch.
Should be available at the BX - I bought 3rd FS F-1 Riders patch while at Misawa in 1991.
I'd like to obtain one to go with my F-2A when it's completed.
Willing to make a deal . . . . |

STBYGAIN
If you can find any patches from the JASDF at your BX (Or via other means ), then I'll also be interested to here from you. I'm looking for patches for my collection.
Cheers

STBYGAIN - Many thanks! Keep me posted.
Also, do you know of any shooters/slide traders over there? I get nearly all of the Snowbirds that frequent DM - this year: Duluth, Springfield, IL, and Great Falls. Looking primarily for Misawa F-16s, however, Osan and Kunsan would be a treat too. Been 20 years since Korea for me!

| I'm sure I do but I'm not familiar with the term shooters/slide traders. Elaborate? |

STBYGAIN, as odd as this sounds there are folks who trade/exchange photos of aircraft almost like baseball cards! there are a few with goals (I have to admit) I find a little odd, like 'collecting' a shot of each and every tail number of a partictular aircraft type.
Don't get me wrong, without those folks we wouldn't have a data base quite as detailed as the one we have here but some of them do have strange ideas as to what constitutes a 'good' photo. (one acceptable for their collection) it's all subjective I guess "one man's coffee is another man's tea, one mans whiskey..." |

I want to see an aireal photo shoot of a formation of F-16s flying over lake Towada, not far from Misawa. If the light is right, it would make an awesome photo.
Also it would be neat to see some fresh photos of an F2 and an F-16 flying together. |
