I'm currently a traditional in the unit and seriously considering apply for some of the positions. Most that I'm interested in are for existing Fed. employees. Will these positions be opened up to traditional members as well?

Most of the time they'd rather have the traditional Guardsmen from their base fill the slots...they've already seen how you work on the weekends and know you. I'd go ahead and apply Mike. At least that's how we usually hire here in Indiana.
The base at Springfield is beautiful! Probably one of the nicer ones I've been to yet. |

Apply! most units seem to do business that way but the 178th has few traditional spots and mostly FULL TIME NON MOBILITY positions. See the latest listings at the mentioned web site.

Nice photos … a blk 30 in the Hush House? What’s the world coming too?
Still dig that tail flash … wish I could have kept the Panther with ED tail code. Klondike Buggy is still on 6050, but the Bengal’s and Reds stickers went immediately. |

Great seeing the pics of Balls 47, the only two-seat Viper to fly missions during Desert Storm. I haven't seen her in person since I left Torrejon way back in 91...
