hey everybody, i am about to start building the tamiya 1/32 kit and wanted to use the misawa 13th FS decals but realized the panther for the tail wasn't included. was wondering if anyone knew how I could get ahold of a set of decals with it for that size model? Any help would be much appreciated!!!!!

Which panther do you speak of? If it's newer and/or a personal logo, might not be present on all tail #'s.

haha sorry if i am wrong, i am new to everything, they won't let epileptics like me in the air force. Anyways I was going to build tail number 91399 and what i think is a fairly recent picture off the air force web site showed a panther on her tail. Forgive me if I am wrong.

You sure it's not in the kit decals? I built mine a couple years ago, and I didn' use the kit decals for squadron markings. However, the panther IS present in the 1/48 kit, I have the sheet right in front of me.

Hmm...guess you're SOL on this one. I don't know of anyone that's done it in 1/32 yet.

well i after a little more research i discovered the academy kit has the panther on its decal sheet. though its not the same tail number i can at least use the panther decals, and i guess i can just build the CG Viper out of the academy kit later. I dunno if you recommend that kit but it looks to be pretty accurate?

Oh boy...you wanna open that can of worms eh? The short answer is NO, I don't recommend the Academy kit for a myriad of reasons. I'd try to find someone who has the kit, and is willing to part with the decals you need.

Oh yeah, it's a near abomination. But if you wanna do a 1/32 F-18, then the Acad kit is the way to go!
