We had a guy in a 152 come visit us at Creech. First no radio, then we had a robot look at him and the prop wasn't spinning. Okay engine out, no radio makes sense. IFE. Then the engine is working again and he lands. The SP's jack him up and ask for his license which he doesn't have because he's learning. No IP. Says he's on a XC from Carson City and he thinks he's at Bishop California. Two instructors come from Carson the next day to scarf him and the plane up. They were real winners too. Wanted to leave immediately after a flight of two C-17's. I had to mention wake turbulence to him and he said, "Oh right, I forgot".
Not making this up.
Bet he didn't know how many degrees of elevator he was going to use on take off. |
