Does this count?
An experimental/temporary paintjob?
Or is that just the lighting?
I believe that's the shade the Raptor appears to be right before its electromagnetically configured paint activates and makes the aircraft disappear. Did you think "stealth" applied only to radar and IR wavelengths? |

| Another related photo source is the Goleta Air and Space Museum website. For Raptors 05-4084 and 05-4086 please check out: 2007 Naval Air Station Point Mugu Airshow Flying Displays March 30 - April 1. And according to this source, 05-4084 (the back-up aircraft for Maj. Paul "Max" Moga) flew during the rehearsal for the airshow on Friday! If correct, that would be absolute new! Anybody of our F-22-orientated F-16.net users who watched all of the Raptor flying displays at Point Mugu? |

| Trying to track down a copy of complete video coverage from the Mugu show (not a YouTube fan here). I was there on Sunday, so if anyone's got footage of the entire show on day 2, I'd like to either buy a copy or arrange a trade of some sort, or if you know somebody that did, could you put me in touch? (Would be for personal use only, don't worry! I shoot my own stuff too, just did not shoot video at Mugu this year, only stills - and was at Riverside the day before, watching the C-17 steal THAT show. |
