I know the names have changed but was just wondering if anyone still calls it CBPO? To me the new names just didn't work, it will always be CBPO and the other is the "Chow Hall"

That's what it is to me, Last time I was in one I didn't see anybody in uniform working there, Still trying to adjust to private security at the Gate. Side note, the new private housing at Moody just opened and has now closed, seems the sub contractors were not getting paid by the contractor, the 2 families living there had to move out, numerous leins have been filed against the property.

Come on Purple, don't kid me here... if it's not a "chow hall" where do we go to get chow??? Well, half the time we lived on 'bag-nasties' from the flight kitchen anyway...
Anyone else notice that 'touchy-feely' political correctness just doesn't seem to work on the flightline?

That was always a joke with us back in the day. When we would sign out for lunch we would put CBPO which meant we were going for a Commissary, BX, Post Office run.
Cheers,

Hey akruse, did you ever call it the chow hall? I know things do change and that was the hardest for me, I never liked some changes. CBPO is MPF now right?

Yeah its still called the chow hall by us flightline folk but the official name now is Dining Facility. CBPO is now MPF but it would look like nothing that you remember of it. Its probably at 15 percent manned due to everything being done either online or at randpolph (AFPC) now days.

I remember CBPO=Consolidated Base Personal Office you know, nonners, NSPs (non sortie producers). I also remember AGS, CRS, EMS 702s, barracks, FMS, OMS Chow Hall, Ops Pukes, SAC, TAC, MAC, ATC. Can you think of any more?

TAS, TASS, TFW, FIG, BW(H), and Downtown= anywhere in town, not necessarily in the downtown section of the city your base is nearby.

We used "PBA" for "probably be alright"...
Do you still check toolboxes out from the CTK?
