Administrative question...
Seeing how the F-22 will replace the F-15 will F-22 Crew Chiefs be "A" shred (2A3X3A)? If so, does that mean the F-35 Crew Chiefs will be "B" shred? Of course this doesn't apply to Tech Sgts and up.
By that time I'm willing to bet that there will be no shredouts at all. Its already gone for techs and above. As the jets become more "maintenance friendly", there will be no need for the shredout.

I don't really see the point of shreds for Crew Chiefs. I think once we get our 5 level we should be able to go to any aircraft as long as we have some OJT. Course there would have to be changes to CDCs which I think we need to do away with anyway. Hmm now that would be an interesting thread: to see if people think we need CDCs.
