Oh I remember you, the pintle hook/ towbar accident. How's the hand? Are you still as funny as back then, we used to laugh alot, but not when CMSGT Lewis was around. Here are some names, Mark Rupperecht, Kim Nickerson, Kevin Rossiter, Skalski, Ricky Duhon. I left the 62nd in Sep 90 and went to the Kun then back to the 61st until it we closed it down in sep 93. Remember when you got that new car , at least for a weekend. HAHAHA! How many miles did you put on it?

Hey Vinnie!!! Man, I thought that was you..but I wasn't sure. We sure did have some great times out there in Tampa...at work and away from work!

I'm really glad to hear from you. What are you up to? I was in touch with Mark Ruppreck while he was at Mt Home...but he must have retired or PCS'd.
I heard Dave Mitchell was at Mt Home too. I also heard Scott Skeldon was a public transit bus driver in Tampa now. Remember Doug Clipp? Donald Easterday? Where there for Chief Powell?

What was our Expiditor's name? I remember he had blonde spiked hair...but can't remember his name.

I went to TJ after the 62nd, and we had a daughter while there. She's 15yo now! We were at Homestead until Andrew came, and then I got a civil service job as an F16 Crew Chief in New Orleans for the Reserves.

We just got BRAC'd last year, and now I'm an Electrician on F15s for the Louisiana Guard. I've been a Master since 2000.

What are you doing? Still military? Drop me an email sometimes: etagesen(at)cox.net, eric.tagesen(at)lanewo.ang.af.mil

Eric,

I was in the 62nd from 87-89 and then went to TJ in the 612th. Your name sounds familiar but I can't but a face with it. If you remember Dennis Connley he retired out of Cannon AFB 4 years or so ago. I remember Chief Lewis quite well he was a hard a$$ about clean jets. Did you come to Kadena when LANG got the jets from us?

I posted something earlier but don't see it here. My name is Randy Young. 62nd from 1988 to 1991. weapons guy. Ran with Erik Severino, Paul Starr, Dave Lamaar, Dave Templeton, Rob Torres, Andy Clear. Worked for Dennis Skowera for awhile, until Scott Holstein picked me up as a 3 man. Hung at the green Iguana most night on Westshore Blvd. definately remember Chief Powell and that fu**ing wash rack. 90 degrees wearing a rubber suit gloves and goggles. Anybody remember MSGT Sillivan with the perpetual sunburn? I remember Mark Ruprecht and Kim Nickerson. She lived in the same apartment complex with me. Went to Germany didn't she? Like to find Scott Holstein, Andy Clear and Rob Torres again. erik Severino got out of the Af and is now Flying Apache Longbows in Korea, for the Army. He is due back in the States in a couple of months. He will be here for a short time before he heads off to Iraq. I'm a sgt. now for the Humboldt County Sheriff's Office in Northern California. Still have one of the Spike Wardawg stickers on my cite book where it's been for 15 years. Brings back alot of great memories everytime I give someone a ticket. I also write childrens books under the name "R. M. Garcia". WWW.Borders.com. Vinnie, weren't you buddies with Ed Eileen (God rest)? Eric, I seem to remember you smashing your hand in the pintel hook.

Holy crap!! How did I end up here with all you crazies from the 62nd?? This is Carlos Ortiz "HUEVOS"! Weapons toad from 85 to 91 at Macdill! I was the one that played the gun barrel like a horn! Jim Brown's load crew, swings! Dang! Mark Rupperecht, we ended up at Osan remember them late night parties? Haaaa! So many names I know..Rossiter, Hobbs, Hennessey, Skalski, Pineapple ( whatever happened to her?), Vinnie, OH MAN eternal sunburn man Sillivan! Skowera, Templeton...I can name off folks like mad! I got caught in the 94 RIF while I was stationed at Edwards and came back to Macdill as a telephone tech for the 290th JCSS Air Guard. Ready to retire...Marvin Crumbliss was there for a while and don't know if you electrician dudes remember Dave Parise from AIS across the street. recently caught up with Dave Kuhlman, Jim Brown and Tsgt Richards ( who married Rosemary Peterson). They are in Florida except for Dave who is in Ohio. Some of these posts are old, but hopefully you guys are still around. Look me up on facebook or slidetbone(at)gmail. Take care all you "hanger 6ers"! Charlie
