Are there any standard radio calls made from wingman to lead to inddicate you are airborne? I expect wingman to call "tied" or "visual" and "rejoining". Please set me straight here.... Thanks in advance.

| It depends. If it is a radar assisted trail departure then you call "tied" once you get a radar lock and "visual" once you are clear of the weather and can see him. If it is not a radar trail departure then there is no comm, you just rejoin. That's it. |
