Hello DeepSpace,

Do you have any information about the problem of APG 68 (V9)?
I have heard that the SAR does not meet the IDF expectations...

well, the IDF/AF planned to install the Elbit's radar, which Israeli pilots found to be superior to the APG.
Though I don't know exactly in what parameters the Elbit's radar is superior.

sorry DeepSpace, a gentle correction. If I am not mistaken, it should be the FCR from IAI/ELTA.

pilot71, the Chinese was reported to have fully tested out the EL/M-2032 for their FC-1 or J-10 project. A search on the performance report of these projects might provide some leads. Wink

cheers, Smile

IMO the problem is not with the APG-68(V9) but with the end user.

Pumpkin, you right, it was the IAI/Elta radar. I don't know what I was thinking about Wink

Isn't that what the (V9) suffix means? Wink

no worries DeepSpace. IAI is a very big organization. Wink

Sorry habu2, if it is a scaled down export verison, I guess the problem might not lie with the end-user.

cheers, Cool
