Hello DeepSpace,
Do you have any information about the problem of APG 68 (V9)?
I have heard that the SAR does not meet the IDF expectations... |

hi pilot71,
by any chance, you were referring to this similar report on F-16.net?
cheers, |

well, the IDF/AF planned to install the Elbit's radar, which Israeli pilots found to be superior to the APG.
Though I don't know exactly in what parameters the Elbit's radar is superior. |

sorry DeepSpace, a gentle correction. If I am not mistaken, it should be the FCR from IAI/ELTA.
pilot71, the Chinese was reported to have fully tested out the EL/M-2032 for their FC-1 or J-10 project. A search on the performance report of these projects might provide some leads.
cheers, |

| IMO the problem is not with the APG-68(V9) but with the end user. |

Pumpkin, you right, it was the IAI/Elta radar. I don't know what I was thinking about |

Isn't that what the (V9) suffix means? |

no worries DeepSpace. IAI is a very big organization.
Sorry habu2, if it is a scaled down export verison, I guess the problem might not lie with the end-user.
cheers, |
