Hey. Does anybody know if its possible to get a job as a GCI controller in another country? I read somewhere that Oman took technicians...... does anybody know if its the same for GCI controllers? I want to do it legally. please leave a line, cheers  |

| I am not familiar with any civilian jobs for GCI controller. I think the closest thing would be Air Traffic Control. If there is an exact equivalent for GCI/AWACS controller, that is news to me. Unfortunately, that is the downside of that job...nothing to go directly to on the civilian side. I am glad that I also have a huge amount of experience with data links (LINK-16). That is something that you can find a civilian equivalent. |
